City & Guilds are replacing the 4353 Scheme with a new qualification in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing. 7579-01 Level 1 Award in CAD Parametric Modelling (formerly 4353-21) Level 2 Award in CAD Parametric Modelling (formerly 4353-22) Level 3 Award in CAD Parametric Modelling (formerly 4353-23) 7579-02 Level 2 Award in 2D Computer Aided Design (formerly 4353-01) Level 2 Award in Computer Aided Manufacturing Level 2 Certificate in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (2D) 7579-03 Level 3 Award in 2D Computer Aided Design (formerly 4353-02) Level 3 Award in 3D Computer Aided Design (formerly 4353-03) Level 3 Award in Computer Aided Manufacturing (2D) Level 3 Award in Computer Aided Manufacturing (3D) Level 3 Certificate in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (2D) Level 3 Certificate in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (3D) The new 7579 CAD and Parametric Modelling Awards are virtually the same as the former 4353 Scheme, but re-badged. Coursware for the new 7579 CAD and Parametric Modelling Awards will continue to be available from MAW DESIGN SERVICES, starting with AutoCAD 2011 and Inventor 2011 versions.
