MAW DESIGN SERVICES was established in the mid 1990's
as a CAD Consultancy for Autodesk products and later to author, publish, and distribute Courseware
for the City & Guilds 4353 (now 7579) Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Parametric Modelling schemes.
To meet the need of Centres, Colleges, and individual learners in preparing for the City & Guilds CAD series
of awards, MAW DESIGN SERVICES, through the Autodesk Training Centre at
Doncaster College in 1997 first published their bespoke courseware with great success. Since that time,
the courseware has kept pace with the changing versions of AutoCAD and latterly, Autodesk Inventor, with
many Centres, Colleges, and individuals nationwide and abroad taking advantage of the scheme.
All courseware has been designed to follow the City & Guilds Qualification Handbook (Syllabus)
helping the learner to gain a qualification in CAD - whichever career path is taken.
Using this training media, the learner will gain the expertise needed for a City & Guilds qualification,
and help establish a competitive advantage in today's complex marketplace.
City & Guilds qualifications are a reliable validation of a learner's knowledge and practical skills, and
can lead to accelerated professional development, improved productivity, and enhanced credibility in the
field of CAD.
City & Guilds certificates can help the learner succeed in his/her CAD career - providing benefits to both
the learner and employer.
For those learner's not interested in seeking a City & Guilds qualification, the courseware is also ideal in
providing a sound introduction to CAD.
